Mid Argyll opened the batting and were all out for 115 after 30 overs. Carradale initially took four wickets in quick succession before the visitors settled into the crease.
After a brief break for rain, and the tea, Carradale went in to bat but were only able to manage 100 runs before running out of overs. They played well though and as the season progresses hope to see them winning a few matches in this their first year.

Meanwhile, on Saturday afternoon, Carradale AFC lost against Southend AFC by 4 goals against nil however controversy surrounds the Southend team who are alleged to have fielded an 'illegal' player.
