31-12-07 Here Comes Hogmanay
[Party Time]After a damp and dreary week since Christmas lots of people are looking forward to getting out tonight and celebrating Hogmanay in the village, especially after the cold and flu bug that has been going around recently.

The Glen Bar are hosting a party from 8pm till late, and we shall be meeting friends there later this evening. It's over 18s only and I understand food will be provided.

No doubt similar celebrations will be taking place in the Cruban and elsewhere around the village, as well as those who choose to celebrate at home.

We're hoping that this year will be different to last, when Hogmanay was spend without electricity as strong winds battered the west of Scotland and brought down power lines all around.		[Santas Little Helper]
