Participants in the Trumpton Riot of a couple of years back will no doubt remember them, partly for stealing the show from The Hugh Trowsers Band, who were head-lining that particular event.
Organised by the almost equally legendary Bochn Mor, the concert takes place on Saturday, 24 May 2008. Doors open at 7:30pm and tickets are £10 each, which is a real bargain, and there's a licensed bar until 12:30am. ROAR.
Appearing with String Driven Thing are the equally well-known (hereabouts anyway) Wild Sarachs, with special guests Shanky's Dooflicker and Moose's Melodeon.
Tickets are sure to sell fast so don't hang around!

Les Oman and The Wild Sarachs will also be performing at this year's Kintyre Song-writer's Festival which takes place on 30-31 May 2008, although the Sarachs will be slightly incognito and billed as the Raging Borachs. Full details on their website.
