Friends on the west coast of Scotland and down in England tell me they've already had heavy snowfalls and I wouldn't be surprised if we don't have some by evening.

| The weather has definitely taken a turn for the wintry today with a cold wind blowing in off of the Sound and waves lashing Carradale Point (just visible on the webcam). In contrast to the last few days, the sky is full of clouds that look to be heavy with snow.
