The RNLI Open Day in Campbeltown yesterday appears to have been a great success with the RNLI and Air-Sea Rescue putting on some great demonstrations in the harbour and the usual fun and games on the quay. Full details, together with photos, can be found on the Kintyre Forum. | |
| As Carradale swings into summer there are various changes to the opening times of some of the establishments. The Glen Bar & Restaurant is now open all through the week, with food served from 12:30pm and 6pm, and the Network Centre Tearoom is now open from 10am until 5:30pm all days except Thursday. | ![[Network Centre, Carradale]](../clips/network.jpg) |
Incidentally, The Glen Bar and Restaurant is being advertised for sale. Full particulars can be found by going to the Scottish Property Network Website. There are currently several houses for sale in the village and one or two more shortly to go onto the market. Anyone thinking of moving into the area will find property in a range of sizes and locations and which, even with the depressed housing market in the south, offer excellent value for money. |
