	The Carradale branch of the RNLI will be holding its AGM in The Glen Bar this evening, Friday 28 April 2006, at 7pm. Anyone with an interest in the RNLI is invited to come along and I understand there will be cheese and wine afterwards.
There will be an Indoor Car Boot Sale in the village hall on Saturday, 29 April 2006 from 12 noon until 4pm. Tables cost Ł5 each and can be setup from 11am. Soup and sandwiches will be available from 12:30pm until 2pm and tea and coffee all day. Admission is 50p.
The next meeting of the East Kintyre Community Council is set for next Thurday, 4 May 2006, at 7pm in the village hall. Amongst the items to be discussed will be the decision by Carradale Surgery to opt-out of providing overnight and weekend medical cover. A team from NHS Highland and the Scottish Ambulance Service, as well as Dr Elder, will be present to answer questions about what emergency out-of-hours cover will be available instead.
