Sir/Madam

I wonder if any of your readers can help me with my family tree, i am looking for my great grandfather, his name was Alexander McLeish, he was a private in the army in the first world war, he was killed in action in 1916, he was 19 years old when he died, he was the son of Thomas and Jessie Stewart McLeish of the gardens, Saddell, Carradale.
I believe that his name is on the war memorial in Crawford John in lanarkshire, any information that ay of your readers may have will be gratefully recieved so i may find out if Alexander is my great grandfather.

If anyone has any information for this gentleman it would be much appreciated.
