27-12-12 Carradale Primary School
December events updates and photo's (thanks to all for info).
Carradale Primary has had a very busy few weeks in the run up to the Christmas holidays. On Wednesday 12th December 55 members of the local community joined pupils and staff for a Christmas Lunch. An excellent lunch was provided by Mrs Sheena Ramsay and everyone had a great time.

Wednesday 19th December was the school Christmas concert. The concert was packed with a variety of performances. The school put on two plays, Pre5-P7 performed 'Little Baby King' and P2-7 performed 'SugarPlum' as well as playing 'Deck the halls' and 'Jingle Bells' on the bells, recorders, ocarinas, guitars and xylophones. There was a variety of singing performances from the school choir, solos, duets and quartets. The concert was a huge success with the audience thoroughly enjoying the night.

On Thursday 20th December, pupils went and sang songs at Abbeyfield House. The children enjoyed performing for the residents and wish to thank them for asking them to come along and sing.

Pupils and community members donated items to be put in hampers. The school made 12 hampers which have been delivered to members of the local community.

The school Christmas party was held on Friday 21st December, where pupils received a special visit from Santa.
