27-10-06 Turning Back The Years
[End of British Summertime]British Summertime officially comes to an end this weekend, and it's clear that the weather knows this, so don't forget to put your clocks back an hour on Sunday morning. That means an extra hour in bed!

It's going to be a busy weekend.

Tonight there's a Quiz Night in the Glen Bar, from 8pm. Entry is £1 per person for teams of up to four, which includes food.		[The Glen Quiz]

Saturday sees the return match of Carradale AFC vs Northend Thistle AFC for the second leg of the Kilbrannan Quaich.

A coach will leave Carradale at 10am to travel across to the Isle of Arran, carrying the players and supporters.

If it's anything like last time it'll be a lot of fun.


On Sunday afternoon don't forget the Children's Halloween Party in the fire station, from 3pm until 5pm, for children up to the age of 13 yrs.


And finally, a reminder that the Glen Bar & Restaurant switches to its winter opening hours this weekend, meaning it will be shut on Mondays AND Tuesdays until the Spring Thaw, so remember this before setting out for a pint.		[Carradale Fire Station or The Glen Bar & Restaurant ? ;o)]
