[Kintyre Kite Festival 2006]This year's annual Kintyre Kite Festival will be held at Kinloch Green, Campbeltown, on Saturday 5 August 2006 from 10am until 4pm.

There will be kite4 flying displays, demonstrations of traction kiting, and an area where anyone can fly their kite and take part in the fun.

Last year the festival suffered a bit with lack of wind so hopefully this year it will be a little more breezy.
