Carradale surgery team (minus 1) do walk to raise funds for Red Cross minibus.

From left to right are Sue Stansfield,Eileen Black,Gail McIntosh,Dr Malcolm Elder,Monica Gemmil and Jill Denton who did a 6 mile walk around Saddell Glen on the 16th April in aid of the British Red Cross RCTI Project to enable Karl Hurd to continue providing transport for all the needy good folk up the east side.

There is a threat that the Red Cross minibus is to be discontinued due to cutbacks and no funding.Karl has been the driver for many years now whom most of you will all know. The Carradale Surgery has been raising funds yearly to help support this needed service throughout the community. They transport the elderly to the Surgery and Village Hall events weekly and it will be a sorry day if it is discontinued.

Your support is needed in keeping this going and for the sake of Karl also who may be out of a job.I do not have a figure a this time of monies raised by the team, but shall keep youupdated later.Well done to all and to Karl for info and Gails photo.
