26-11-04 New Ferry for Campbeltown
From reports in the Campbeltown Courier and Oban Times newspapers it seems there's a very real chance that we'll have a ferry running betwixt Kintyre and Ireland in time for the 2006 season. Apparently it's too late to do it for 2005 because they've missed the advertising deadlines. (Huh!)

Campbeltown has a rather nice modern ferry terminal which has been sitting idle since the retirement of the last ferry. Getting people onto this end of Kintyre can only be good for the many businesses that depend upon tourism.
