26-05-09 Adder About So Watch Out

Thought you might be interested in what I found today at the top of my lane today.

It was about 10 inches in length and according to Gary, it’s a male adder.

Been at Grogport 14 years and never seen the likes. Wondered if your readers had come across one in these parts before.

Ed Note: Adders were fairly common and in abundance all over these parts years ago. I myself have not seen one for a long time,but as a teenager they were common being seen basking in the sun on rocks or on the road.
