Whichever mid-winter festival you're celebrating - Christmas, Mithras, or just jolly old Yule - you couldn't find a more beautifully sunny, crisp and fresh morning in Carradale to do it on.


With Saturday being the mid-winter Solstice, and co-inciding with the Oak Moon, the days have at last begun to lengthen, although you're unlikely to notice and difference for a couple of weeks.		[Robin Red Breast]
