24-07-09 Unexpected Visitor Today
Mary McMillan arrived on my doorstep today with a slightly dazed Cuckoo.The bird did not seem to be injured, but Mary took it home to keep an eye on it overnight.
I'll get an update on the bird later on.

Great photos of the Cookoo, JD.

It's a juvenile bird - going by the white nape patch - almost certainly one
of this year's birds as they grow at an astonishing rate.
