[PS Waverley]Keep your eyes peeled tomorrow because the PS Waverley, the last of the Clyde paddle steamers, will be in the area. She's a very impressive vessel and there's every chance of good views of the ship as she passes Carradale, or when she calls at Campbeltown, before cruising around Sanda and the Mull of Kintyre.

After several days of mixed weather, including some pretty heavy rain at times, this morning is bright and sunny so perhaps we're in for some nice weather again. The campsite looks busy with lots of holiday-makers visiting Carradale at this time of year.

[Men at Work]

The man from the council was out again last week with his bucket of sticky grit, filling in a few of the smaller pot-holes in the roads in Carradale. It'll be interesting to see how many days it stays down this time.

Unfortunately there is still little sign of any progress on the plan to re-surface the road down to Waterfoot from Dippen Bridge.
