The 'Dale missed scoring from a Penalty in the first half but another Penalty in the second half got them off of their duck. Ardrishaig quickly responded with an equaliser which was just as promptly brushed aside by an excellent second goal from the home side, putting them back in the lead.
Both keepers were kept busy throughout the match - not least the Ardrishaig goalie who had to be substituted due to injury after a clash with Carradale striker Paul Souden saw both players on the ground.
Despite spirited attempts by both teams to extend the score the match ended 2:1 to Carradale, who now go forward to the final of the Dalriada Cup, against Southend AFC, next weekend.
