22-06-08 Dawn Tartan Walk 2008
It was a damp and early start to the day for the 22 walkers who took part in today's Dawn Tartan Walk, raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support and the Mairi Semple Fund.

A note from the organisers:

"Jose, Joanna, Heather and Irene would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part in The Dawn Tartan Walk.

Well done to everyone who turned out at 5.00am in the most awful weather, rain and midges being the order of the day.

Having done a rough calculation of the monies raised so far, we have reached the grand amount of £950, with money still to come.

All money raised is going to be split between the MAIRI SEMPLE FUND and MCMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT.
