22-06-05 Solstice Sunset
We went over to the west side yesterday evening to celebrate the Summer Solstice with friends and to watch the sun go down. Unfortunately the brilliant sunshine of the afternoon was replaced with clouds and so the sunset was obscured. The midges were also fearsome! Thankfully they soon scarpered once the bonfire was lit.

The fire engine was called out on Monday evening to deal with a case of flooding at a house in the village.
