21-11-12 Children In Need
Carradale Primary School fundraising event results.
On Friday 16th November, Carradale Primary School pupils organised a tea and coffee morning for Children In Need. Pupils decided it was to be a non-uniform pyjama day with all pupils and staff taking part. They arranaged a variety of stalls, with the baking stall proving to be very successful! A big thank you to everyone who donated baking. There was an excellent turnout from the local community and within 1 hour the pupils had raised £266.92! To add to this total, Primary 3 pupil Scott McGeachy kept his pyjamas on for his journey to Glasgow. The money raised on his journey was then very kindly matched by Mr Mike Hurst, Wallis Hunter, Carradale which took the total Scott raised to £160! This meant the schools final total for Children in Need was £426.92! Well Done everyone!
Winners from the Stalls:
Guess how many Sweets in the Jar: Carol Abernethy
Lucky Square: Janeta King
Pin the Patch on Pudsey: Anna Gemmill
Guess the Weight of the Dumpling: Maryann Gosling and Dr Abernethy.
