21-11-08 Emmerdale arrives in Carradale.
It may not be the Woolpack,but the Glen will do.

It was a surprise to walk into the Glen Bar on Friday evening and see Matthew King from Emmerdale standing at the bar.Matt, real name Davie Healy was visiting with his brother Jack and father Dougie.

Having know them for around thirty years as they had a static caravan in the field just down from Auchnasavil Farm.It had been over seven years since they were last here.Davie has played Matthew in Emmerdale for over four years now and has had other parts in Casualty.It was great to talk to Dougie and the boys about the good old days and of the friends they made whilst holidaying in the village.They stayed a couple of nights in the local hotel and hopefully they will visit again in the near future.

In the photo to the right are Davie,Jack and Dougie also Davie with barperson Sue Stansfield who's mum and aunt are great telly fans of Emmerdale.
