21-08-12 Funding For Flytipping
Keep Scotland Beautiful.

I thought that you would be interested to hear about this funding opportunity.

Is flytipping blighting your land or neighbourhood? Do you need some help to remove the waste and dispose of it properly, or to prevent it happening again? If so support is now available.

Zero Waste Scotland has launched their second flytipping grant scheme this summer, which will allow landowners/managers and communities to apply for small grants to help clear their land of flytipped material and create long-term, innovative deterrents to flytipping.

Anyone who has experienced problems with flytipping on the land for which they are responsible, and can provide evidence of the problem, will be eligible to apply for a small grant of between £500 and £10,000, from the total pot of £75,000.

Details of who can apply, what the grant can be spent on, and an application pack are available now at www.dumbdumpers.org/ then click on grants.

For more information contact the litter and flytipping team at Keep Scotland Beautiful, who administer the grant scheme on behalf of Zero Waste Scotland, at flytipping@ksbscotland.org.uk or on 01786 471333.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 31st August 2012. (Please ensure that you have received a confirmation email after submitting your application.
