21-04-07 Carradale Drama Triumph Again
[Carradale Drama Group]Carradale Drama Group were triumphant once again at Ardrishaig last night, scooping four trophies with their production of Jimmy Chin's "In by the half."

They won:Best Play
Best Production
Best Scenery
Best Acting

In fact the only prizes they didn't win were 2nd and 3rd place, and the youth section!

I make that eight trophies they've won this year, which is very impressive by anyone's book, so well done to you all!

The prize for best scenery goes principally to Tony Leighton who not only constructed the set but actually built some of the furniture used. Excellent work.

This year's 'Dream Team' consisted of Morag Allan, Sue Stansfield, Pauline Burrows, Joanne Paterson, and Kirsty McAllister. Production and direction team were Tony and Margaret Leighton, Donald and Mary McAllister-Hall and prompt Ann Littleson.

Carradale Drama Group will be performing this play just once more this season, with a special production in the Village Hall on 12 May 2007.
