After another night of gales Sunday morning started out cold but sunny: the perfect weather to get out and play with my new camera!
The waters of Carradale Bay were smooth and glassy after the recent storms, and dotted with seabirds. In the distance the hills of the Isle of Arran are still crowned with snow.
Meanwhile work on the harbour repairs continues, with new steel sheet pilings being driven in.
Tonnes of concrete and hardcore have aleady been used to in-fill the pier and and make it sound for the forseeable future.
