(1) Congratulations to Jamie Campbell who broke the course record last Saturday 4th August during the Foulds Martin Trophy competition, scoring a gross 61 – out in 32 and back in 29.
(2) Carradale Golf Club held its annual AM-AM recently with a large entry fighting for the first prize of £300. An open competition of teams of 4, it attracted golfers from local clubs as well as further afield. The eventual winners pictured here were R. MacDougall, C McGeachy, R Watson, G McMillan (Machrihanish) with a score of 49. Runners Up winning £200, were I MacKinnon, D Allen, M McArthur, J Marrison (Dunaverty) with a score of 53. Third were D Rankin, D Irwin, L Ferguson and D MacLean (Machrihanish) with a score of 54 bih winning £100. Thanks to all who provided filled rolls and brought Raffle Prizes.
