Carradale AFC played Ardrishaig AFC in a friendly pre-season match on Friday evening in Campbeltown, winning by four goals to two, or was that three?

There's some confusion over Ardrishaig's final goal as some say it may have happened after the final whistle.

At a recent meeting of the Campbeltown and District Amateur Football League there was renewed support and enthusiasm for the coming season, with additional teams joining the league. More details on this later.
