19-11-04 Snowy weather hits Kintyre
The council were out gritting the road last night and waking this morning we found there had been a light fall of snow during the night. As they only grit north from Campbeltown as far as Carradale the road to Tarbert is going to be treacherous today.

The cats have capitulated and gone into hibernation. Even the lure of a rattled box of cat biscuits can't rouse them. The dog can't see what all the fuss is about - before he came to us he was a farm dog and lived outdoors all year round.

The kids are excited, of course, and can't wait till later when we can all pile into the Landrover and go down to the beach to play; so no work today!
