19-07-06 Ocean Youth Trust
We had a visitor from the south yesterday when Ocean Youth Trust's ketch, 'Greater Manchester Challenge', came into Carradale Bay and dropped anchor for a while.

[A busy day on Carradale beach]The hot weather continues and Carradale beach was as busy as I've ever seen it yesterday, with maybe fifty or sixty people enjoying the sunshine and sand.

Almost anywhere else but Kintyre and you'd find a beach so good as Carradale's packed with people, shoulder to shoulder, but our remoteness means that you will never feel crowded here.
