Regular holiday maker to Carradale Gordon Goldie on a recent trip to the Sound of Jura caught this massive Skate weighing in at am imcredible 210lbs.
As you can see by the photo Gordon and a friend had some task landing this fish and as he quoted in his message to me "looks like I'm going to have to get a bigger boat???" and we can see why.
Gordon travels a lot with his chums to the west coast with his boat on trailer launching at varies locations to set out fishing. All the fish that are caught and they can be many on some days are weighed, tagged and returned to the sea to fight another day.
