![[The Carradale Goat]](../people/isobeltaylor.jpg) | Isobel Taylor, widow of the late Jim Taylor and stepmother of Janeta King and Wilma Armstrong, died peacefully in her sleep on 16th March. She would have been 97 years old in November. Isobel and Jim bought Robinhood in 1969 and left for Comrie in 1988 due to Jim's ill health. Jim was Secretary and Treasurer of Carradale Golf Club for many years and Isobel was Ladies Captain in 1981. Latterly Isobel moved to Shrewsbury to be nearer her family especially her daughter Jeannie. She was last here in Carradale in August 2010 for her grandson Graeme's wedding accompanied by Donald and Jeannie, 2 of her 6 children, when she met up with some of her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
