Sporting their brand new all-black strip, neither team dominated the match with plenty of action keeping the players on the toes.
Some great goals by both teams saw the half-time score 3 all but in the second half Carradale pulled away to finish the match winning by 6 goals to 4.
It was a clear day but chilly, and there were still a few soft patches on the pitch which caused the players a bit of trouble. No doubt the groundkeepers will be up there today, patting down the divots and preparing for the next match.
This was the first home outing for Carradale's new all-black strip with additional sponsorship from The Hugh Trowsers Band.
