18-12-10 Carradale Snowed In Today.
Reports that vehicles cannot get up Dippen Hill to Campbeltown.

The road situation is getting terrible due to lack of gritter lorry movement. Yesterday the lorry was broken down for most of the day at Saddell and when eventually we saw one north of Saddell whilst enroute to the town there was little or no grit being scattered.

On reaching Campbeltown there was a gritter running around the town centre spreading plenty.Driving out of Campbeltown yesterday afternoon just after 3.00pm when the blizzard came on was not very nice, quite a covering of snow on the road and visability poor.Knowing what this geoghraphical area is like in winter,here's hoping the gritters get up today and do there bit for the community.The first photo was yesterday nearing the Network Tearoom, the roads were very slippy.The second photo is this morning at Toshs Park after another flurry last night.
