18-12-06 Santas Drops In
[Santa Comes Early to Carradale]More than 30 of the local children descended on the Glen Bar on Saturday afternoon for a Christmas party. Everyone appears to have had a good time and there was even a visit from Santa to round off the day.

Now I don't know whether Santa's been on a diet or maybe he's in training for next years Mull of Kintyre Half Marathon, but he certainly seemed to be a much slimmer Santa than last year :)


Meanwhile last night there was a good turn-out for the community carol singing (sorry, I've got a sore throat) which helped raise money for Carradale Activity Play Park.


Today we've seen none of the recent rain and hail but instead have enjoyed wonderfully sunny and clear weather, albeit a bit on the chilly side.

My eldest son returns home for Christmas from college today so for all his friends that have been ringing for him: Yes, Shorty will be home tonight!
