18-10-10 Joint Party For Waterfoot Couple
Jim and Sue celebrate their 65th birthdays with family and friends.
Jim and Sue moved to the village some years back having bought River Cottage at Waterfoot and renovating it over the years with adding an extension and so on.
Meeting new neighbours and friends and making them both very welcome they decided to pay back everyone with holding a grand party for their joint 65th birthdays.
Over 70 family and friends were invited to the Carradale Hotel for a meal and Ceilidh afterwards and to add what a night was had by all..............Best wishes to you both.

Sue and Jim would like to add............... The Ceilidh
Individual thanks will be forthcoming but we would like to express our immediate (well its taken us two days to recover!) thanks to all our friends and neighbours in our adopted village for making our birthday celebrations such a memorable night for us. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as we hope you did too.
Our Southern family and friends were amazed at the welcome and friendliness you all showed to them. (We have suggested they all go to Scottish dancing lessons before the next time and hope they didn't spoil it for you!)
Our thanks too to -
Marcus and Morag at the Carradale Hotel for such delicious food and the efficiency which made the whole night run effortlessly.
The Kinloch Ceilidh Band. Archie, Alex and Iain - we love your music and thanks for staying at the hotel and entertaining our younger guests into the wee small hours of the morning.
So once again thanks and here's to the next time!
