Last night's Tapas Night at the Ashbank Hotel was a sell-out gig, and well up to expectations. Bowl after bowl of delicious Spanish cuisine arrived at our table, along with jugs of home-made Sangria. The meatballs in vegetable and tomato sauce, and the baked aubergine were particularly delicious, as was the chilli-chocolate sauce served with the ice cream dessert. Portions were predictably large and several tables (ourselves included) took some of the surplus home with them to enjoy later. |
