| It's a very high tide today and the river has come right up over its banks. These photos show the road beside river, leading down to the Caravan Site and the Waterfoot end of the beach. (Thanks to Colin Burgess for the pictures.) There's a new photo in the Bygone Pictures section of the Gallery, which features the Schoolhouse at the beginning of the 20th century.
