Time is running out for The Carradale Goat... Yes, as mentioned in an earlier entry, we're upping-sticks and moving further north and so will be unable to continue the day to day running of this website. We'll be gone by the middle of October. Our destination is Kinlochbervie, way up north and close on to Cape Wrath, the most northerly fishing port on the west coast of Scotland. Of course this means our house is for sale and despite not yet being placed with an estate agent it has already attracted local interest. Built in 1890 as the village school, it was converted to a house in the 1990's and boasts four large bedrooms, modern fitted kitchen, 2 toilet/bath/shower rooms, lounge, and a dining room. | ||
The house would make an excellent family home (as it has for us) but also has potential for B&B use. Heating is via gas boiler to radiators. There are gardens front and rear and ample off-road parking for three or more cars. At the rear the house looks out across farmland to Carradale Bay and the Point. Offers in excess of the miserly sum of £148,000 are invited. Email us at house@the-carradale-goat.co.uk with any queries. |
