There's a Whist Drive in Carradale village hall on Friday, 26 August 2005, starting at 7:30pm. All are welcome. There will be an informal presentation of the Kintyre Way and the route it takes through and by Carradale on Thursday, 18 August 2005 at 7pm in the village hall. The Kintyre Way forms part of the West of Scotland long-distance footpath. Carradale Junior Citizens are inviting all Senior Citizens to join them in the village hall on the evening of Saturday, 17 September 2005. Formal invites to follow in due course. Meanwhile the Mull of Kintyre Music Festival gets under way on Thursday, 18 August 2005 and runs until 21 August 2005. A full list of events can be found at the MoKFest Website. Tickets to see Deacon Blue have long been sold-out but I gather there are still tickets available for other events. There's a lot of discussion taking place on the Campbeltown Website about people parking in the disabled or parent/child spaces at Tescos when they are neither disabled nor accompanied by children. Have your say on the subject by visiting the site. |
