17-06-09 Down Periscopes
The grass cutter was out today and well awaited for.

You may now see the roadside verges and around some corners for the first time in months as the Campbeltown to Carradale stretch was cut today.
I cannot say that for the very overgrown back road out of Carradale to Cloanaig were you cannot even see the crash barriers now (last pic) and the overgrown bushes and trees.
We are into the holiday season with more traffic using the area and road safety should be top of the list.I hope we see the back road cut soon, I shall be contacting the roads dept to clarify this.

Kintyre seems to be left out when it comes to these chores compared to the rest of the county and especially the roads.
