At the last moment (Friday 18th) I booked a night at the REGENT HOTEL in Oban. On a late deal offer I got dinner,bed and breakfast for both of us for £60.Being an old hotel some bits looked run down,but overall it was warm, our room was clean and cosy with a sea view,the food was good and the staff friendly.
A nice wee break with a bottle of wine or two and meeting a group from Clydebank in the bar that night made the stay more enjoyable.I hope she will treat me this coming weekend for my birthday :)
