The design depicts four trees with hands at the end of each of the branches, and the slogan "We're lending a hand, helping to look after our countryside."
The children made the hands by drawing round their own hands and then colouring them in.
Elizabeth Vischer then used them to complete the mural.

This weekend's football match against Southend was cancelled due to the weather. Next weekend sees the return of Northend Thistle AFC, from Arran, for the second leg of the Kilbrannan Quaich.
