16-05-10 Carradale Mans Cycle
Bobby saddles up for marathon memorial cycle in aid of the Fishermans Mission.

BOBBYS MALLAIG MISSION. November 22nd 2010 will be 20 years since the sad and tragic loss of the Carradale fishing boat Antares with all hands.As a mark of respect well known Argyll golfer Bobby Willan who lives in Carradale will cycle 212 miles from Mallaig to the Antares memorial plaque on Carradale pier over two days to raise money for the ROYAL DEEP SEA FISHERMENS MISSION in memory of all lost.

Day 1 Friday July 30th will see Bobby cycle from Mallaig to Lochgilphead and resting over night

Day 2 will see the completion of the marathon effort travelling via Kilberry and Campbeltown hopefully arriving at Carradale pier approx 7.00pm on Saturday 31st July.

Donations can be made by logging on to justgiving/BOBBY WILLAN or by contacting Bobby or his wife Audrey in Campbeltown Bank of Scotland.

Bobby said, "The accident is something that is never far from the thoughts of all who live in Carradale, especially those who lost family members or friends , it just feels right to mark twenty years for those lost and raise funds for a worth while charity ".
