Hello,

I was in Carradale yesterday (Thurs 10th) on business and visited the local bakery to try to get some information and direction. The lady was extremely pleasant and helpful but to top it off I had a cup of tea and a piece of the most delicious 'fly ceXXXXry'. How I wish I lived near this gem!

Hello,

Myself and family have just been on holiday for the first time in the Campbeltown area. There was beautiful, amazing scenery and friendly people. We took a trip to Carradale, what a beautiful village. Found the local bakery where the home made rolls, loaves, cakes and muffins were to die for, not tasted anything like that in years, also the home made pies Were amazing especially the Beef and Ale, tender meat and lots of it. What lucky people you are to still have a good bakery on their door step.
We will defiantly be back to the area, but this time we will be staying nearer to Carradale.

A big thank you to all in the area for making us feel at home.

We live near Invergordon and have just had a delivery from Carradale's Pattersons Bakery via pigeon post....well a friend who was down that way and kindly brought them up to us!! The Flea cemetary was the best, juiciest and biggest I have every tasted..I even dreamt about it all night after eating it!! my husband will not even allow me to LOOK at his lemon cake!! Wish we could have a weekly delivery via the internet. All reports talk of the friendly staff and even from this distance, I have to agree..after all Irene is our daughter-in-law...she is a wee cracker!!!
