Distress flare and odd bag found on Carradale Bay.

For those of you wondering what all the (click on name)BOMB DISPOSAL TEAM. vehicles(EOD) and Coastguard car were in the village on the 1st and 10th of this month,well an out of date distress flare and a suspicious looking sealed bag were washed up on the beach.Both of these items were reported by members of the public whom came across them whilst out walking.

Due to health and safety rules and with it being dated as 1986 we in the COASTGUARD are not responsible for picking up and disposing of any pyros or suspicious looking objects,we cordone off the area to make safe for all and then the (click on name)COASTGUARD contact the EOD for them to come and attend to whatever found.
