I bumped into the two Hairy Bikers tonight in the Ardsheil Hotel Campbeltown whilst down for a meal.For anyone who may not know them, check out their website at at The Hairy Bikers.(click name)
What a pleasant pair of chaps to meet with, have a chat and get my photo taken despite being dwarfed by their 6 foot frames.
They are enjoying tremendously their wee biking jaunt in Kintyre filming parts for the new series to be shown in the autumn, which will be televised nightly over six weeks (30 episodes).
There visit and guided tour of Springbank Distillery was a highlite (swigging the samples)and also a day out at sea with big Hughie and having a go at hauling in the prawn creels.
Today they head up to the Kilberry Inn and on to Tarbert to prepare for their food show this Saturday on the quayside 2 till 4pm, well worth a trip to sample some of their cooking skills. Thanks for the photo session lads.

Hi Johnny, i didnt realize that the hairy bikers were as big as the picture shows them to be.
They dwarf you .A great photo of their bikes.
