10-12-06 AmDram Aftermath
No doubt a few restorative beverages were consumed by the cast once the final curtain had fell last night, at Carradale Drama Club's panto production of Geronimo, by David Buchanan.

I held off posting these photos until now, not wanting to spoil things for anyone going to Saturday night's performance.

As a pantomime it had everything that amateur dramatics can offer:

Some good acting; some bad acting; and a generous dollop of over-acting! :o)

Women dressed as men, and men dressed (rather distressingly) as women!

Loads of gags, lots of laughs, a healthy serving of double-entendres and plenty of private/local jokes.

Although I wasn't there to witness it myself, I'm assured that conditions were 'windy' in the hall tonight.

It was good to see so many younger members of the community taking part. We've some budding future stars there, methinks.
