It's fast getting round towards bonfire night and the Guy will soon be touring the village to raise money for fireworks and celebrations down at the Wellpark in November.

Carradale's goals were by Ranald Rixon (3), Travis Tiffin (2), and Alan Robertson. Lochgilphead's goal was scored by Roddy 'The Fox' McDonald.
It was an entertaining match with lots of goal-mouth action at both ends. Carradale's defenders and goalkeeper were superior though with some excellent saves. Up at the front they carved their way through the Lochgilphead defense with some deft passing of the ball.
The rain held off until just a few minutes before the final whistle by which time the result was a foregone conclusion. After the match both teams retired to The Glen for refreshments.
