08-09-10 Dolphins Galore
Enroute to Campbeltown at Portrigh to the Cruban Rock.

Thursday 2nd September steaming south suddenly the water was alive with a large group of dolphins.Unfortunetly I did not have my camera with me, my friend did but in the excitement of watching these magnificent mammals performing and showing off around the boat it was very difficult to get a proper shot (non SLR camera).
They followed us for a distance diving and then leaping out of the water on to their backs before regrouping and continuing on their way along the shoreline. Reports that they were in the Carradale Bay and further up the shore near the fishfarm cages.
