08-05-08 Hoofing it
Forgive the lack of an update for the last few days but the weather's been so nice lately we've been out enjoying it instead of stuck inside.

Last weekend we took the Landrover up to the picnic site just before the Brackley turning and went for a walk across the hills.

Coming down through the ruins of what I'm told might once have been a sawmill, we hit the coast near to Eilean Grianain and walked along the seashore to Grogport when friends live.

Aside from the scenery there was a lot of wildlife to watch out for, including Oystercatchers, Red Breasted Merganser, sea anemones, newts, and a gorgeous little sand lizard.
