06-11-09 Carradale Bonfire Night And Fishfarm Meeting
Friday 6th Bonefire and Fireworks Display at Wellpark football field (enter the forestry road across from the school) at 6pm tonight Friday 6th Nov.This event is partially funded by the East Kintyre Windfarm Trust (for the fireworks).

Carradale Activity Playpark group (CAPP) will also have the usual food and snacks for sale,tea,coffee,burgers,soup and refreshments from the Pavilion building.

Big decision day for the proposed salmon fish farm just north of Carradale this side of Grianan.Lakeland Marine was on the agenda of the Community Council meeting last night.

It was put to the floor on what anyone thought of this project and without saying too much all or nearly all in attendance were in favour of it.

So this morning at 10.30am the public hearing will go ahead in the Village Hall when hopefully we should have an announcement of the outcome from the Argyll and Bute council committee.
